In our virtual library, we have made available the results of religious and ecclesiastical research in the fields of ethnography, anthropology, sociology, psychology, and social history. These analyses have been published in various journals and websites within these areas of expertise, meaning their publication was typically known only to those working in narrow fields of expertise. By creating our database, our goal was to make these writings visible and accessible to the widest possible range of interested individuals through an easy-to-use thematic search system, thereby creating a bridge between researchers and churches.
So far, our database has primarily gathered writings related to Transylvania by Transylvanian researchers. The majority of the collected works are in Hungarian, but it also contains materials in Romanian. According to our plans, in the future, we will try to expand our database to include more significant works of Romanian and Hungarian religious literature.
In addition to published studies and books, the database also contains manuscript theses, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations.
